Scott Doorley is a designer, writer, & teacher.*

* Scott co-wrote two groundbreaking books, Assembling Tomorrow: A Guide to Designing a Thriving Future (PRH/Ten Speed, 2024) and Make Space: How to Set the Stage for Creative Collaboration (Wiley & Sons, 2012), as well as influential studies about the messy ways people create with technology.

* His art and design work have been exhibited in museums from London, UK, to San Jose, USA. He works with others (like Rapt Studio, Steelcase, & Scott Witthoft) to design spaces for learning & work, such as the Google Schoolhouse, 2567 Mission, and the Nueva School iLab. F

* Scott is also an adjunct professor and the creative director at the Stanford d.school, where he has launched eight classes (covering digital design, creative work, storytelling & visual communication, and the future of education). He currently teaches graduate level design classes. His scholarly work explores the future of learning & design, how environments support creativity, and how to address the effects of emerging tech.
